Senator Ibrahim Kazaure, National Vice Chairman, (North West).

Senator Ibrahim Kazaure was born in Jigawa State on November 12, 1954.

After his primary education, he obtained his National Diploma in building and Civil Engineering from Kaduna State Polytechnic.

He began his political career as Commissioner for Education in Kano State in 1983. He was elected into the Senate in the Third Republic and served as the Majority Whip of the Senate.

Senator Kazaure was appointed Nigerian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia between 2003 to 2007.

He was appointed Minister of Special Duties in 2008 and later briefly served as Minister of Labour and Productivity from February to March, 2010 following the movement of the then Minister to the Ministry of Justice.

Senator Kazaure was re-elected the National Vice Chairman (North West) Zone in the PDP in 2017.
