Rt. Hon. Udeh Okoye, National Youth Leader
S.K.E Udeh-Okoye was born on the 28th of May, 1978, in Ohumagu Agbogugu in Awgu local government area of Enugu State. His academic sojourn started in central school Akegbe-ugwu, from where he proceeded to community secondary school obuoffia, and later he attended the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, where he begged a degree in Political Science and Administrative Studies.
S.K.E. Udeh-Okoye became a successful businessman at a young age through his application of astute and prudent business principles.
His sojourn into politics started when he became a youth leader in his community at the age of 23. In 2006 at the age of 28, S.K.E. Udeh-Okoye became the Chairman of Enugu State Youth Coalition. Three years later, in 2009, he emerged as the National President, Southeast youth movement.
At the age of 33, in 2011, S.K.E. Udeh-Okoye contested in the election, to represent his constituency, in the Enugu State House of Assembly and won.
As a young and vibrant assembly man, his colleagues in the House of Assembly elected him to be the majority leader of the House, even though he was a first time legislator.
In 2015, S.K.E. Udeh-Okoye was reelected into the Enugu State House of Assembly, by the electorate in his constituency. In his second term as state legislator he was made the Chairman, House Committee on Works, Lands, and Housing and Urban Development.
Currently, Rt. Hon. S.K.E. Udeh-Okoye is the National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) following his successful election on the December 2017 National Convention.
