Buhari’s Belated Choice Of Running Mate, The Height Of Incompetence – PDP
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the belated choice of Professor Yemi Osibajo by General Muhammadu Buhari as his running mate, six clear days after his emergence as the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC), as the height of incompetence.
The PDP also declared that the eventual choice of Osibajo is a confirmation of its stand that the APC is the personal project of a cabal commanded by former Lagos state governor, Bola Tinubu, to expand its political and economic frontiers. Continue reading

PDP NWC Cancels Ogun Governorship Primaries: Says It Is Unauthorized
The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has cancelled the conduct of the Governorship Primary election in Ogun state.
For the avoidance of doubt, the NWC hereby states that it did not authorize any governorship primary in Ogun state. Consequently, any such exercise held in Ogun state is hereby declared null and void and of no effect. Continue reading

Party Primaries for Elections into the National Assembly
Sections 25, subsections VI – XI of the Electoral Guidelines for the 2014 Primary Elections of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) provide that there shall be an Electoral Committee and Electoral Appeal Panel for each State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for purposes of conducting Party Primaries and hearing of appeals arising therefrom for the 2015 National Assembly Elections. Primaries for House of Representatives Elections shall hold on Saturday, December 6, 2014, and those for Senatorial Elections shall hold on Sunday, 7 December, 2014. The National Assembly Electoral Panel shall be composed of five persons, while the National Assembly Electoral Appeal Panel shall be composed of three persons. Continue reading
